I am looking for transcripts or a copy of my Certficate of Completion
from MoTech Automotive Education Center, formerly located at 35155
Industrial Rd. Livonia, MI 48150. MoTech was created by Chrysler
Corporation in 1972 and later sold to another firm. Can you help me
gain access to my records from the 1974 school year when Chrysler
still owned the school?Dear lanzicek,

48150) in the Michigan government's official list of closed
proprietary schools:

According to the data provided there, the transcripts are still
available and now located at O/E Learning Inc. in Troy, MI 48084.
The Michigan government also provides a procedure "Directions to
Obtain an Academic Transcript":

"Directions to Obtain an Academic Transcript
To order an academic transcript(s) from a closed proprietary school,
you must send a $16.50 certified check or money order made payable to
the State of Michigan, along with a written request to:

Victor Officer Center, 4th Floor
201 North Washington Square
Lansing, Michigan 48913
Your written request must include the following information:
address or addresses where you want your transcript(s) to be mailed
name and address of school attended
name you used at the time you attended the school
your social security number and date of birth
your daytime telephone number
your signature
Remember to include your $16.50 certified check or money order made
payable to the State of Michigan along with your written request. No
personal checks will be accepted."
