Fourm timeout?

  • Not too sure where to post this question, since it is not an Outpost problem, so I pick Chit Chat. Please feel free to move it where appropriate. I noticed when I am logged into the Fourm and reading alot of posts or trying out the various configurations, I am disconnected from the forum? Is there a timeout period, if so no big deal just curious?
    Thanks

  • Hi Chris, yes it is real drag when you lose your cookies, isn't it? :D I do have everything enables for Agnitum, except pop-ups, which I can't stand on any site. :p Like I said, it is no big deal. I like this forum, so it is no big deal to login again. ;)

  • Hi hayc59, it has happened a couple times, the way I can tell is when I return the Forum home and click on say user cp, it asks me to login again? It is kind of strange, because at the bottom of the main forum window, I am listed as one of the Active users? No big deal, I just log back in again?

  • dp6304, you placed it in the right area.
i have not experinced such a thing so i cannot
tell you anything. has it happened before? how many times?
but if anyone else has, please lettuce know.....:D

  • cookies and referers enabled?
    Hi guys.
    Chris

ps it happens to me every time I delete all my cookies.:)

  • yes, timeouts are a known issue. that's why you should compose your posts outside the reply form and then copy-n-paste, because you'll get timed out before you can finish even relatively short posts.
